Life is a drama, at least for last week. I'm not sure what the hell is happening last week. When one thing goes wrong, the subsequent things also go wrong. This like bad things happen continuously.
My internet is down for last weekend. Worse, I have an assignment that need to summit on the next Tuesday and needs a lot literature review. Moreover, the content is full of biochemical stuff which needs a lot of technical information from journals. The assignment is almost similar to pharmacy assignment, which I don't know what I have written. But, what happen is when there is no internet at home, I traveled to nearest cafe to surf the net. I choose Cheras Mahkota due to the distance. When I arrived there around 1pm, the shop is closed for private function. My first word - F***. I went to so many Old Town and this is the first time Old Town is closed for private function. Why they don't want to do on another day but have to crash with my assignment deadline? out of so many branch, why they must choose Cheras Mahkota? Tell me why? Is this due to so called bad luck.
The next day I have English test (UPM-TOCIE). First time in my university and I am the first batch to take the test. The format is similar to MUET oral test. But I think this test is very irrelevant because it used to assess our proficiency on English. I'm not against the test, but I think the test didn't serve any purpose since we are in final years, if the English is not up to the par, what is the university want to do? Giving intense English class? If the university thinks that their graduates are not up to the standard, they should provide more English courses during university, assess the student from time to time. By the way, the English oral test is piece of cake. I think I done very well, given the experience in movement, the argument, the perspective and the discussion techniques. The examiner said is a very interesting discussion, of course she should see the way we discuss the issues. How to overcome negativity bought by internet? Candidate C said that government should filter the content of the internet, this is something which I am against it. I argue that the government should not filter the internet, but to educate and giving accurate information on the usage of internet. Filter the internet is so dictator, gone with the age where government knows what is good for the people, now the people knows what government is good for the country, people start to demand better and efficiency government.
Sunday go to police station to support students arrested at KL sentral. Surprisingly, is a reunion for me, the lawyer, the IO and the OCPD. We all meet 2 years before, when I step inside the police station, the IO ask why I am here. Of course, I'm showing my solidarity to them. I thought he has forgotten me, well he will not forget me since I'm his suspect for once. Hahaha...... Anyway, will meet with him in 2 weeks time.
Sarawak polls temperature is rising. My junior who is Sarawakian say Kuching is DAP stronghold and her parents will vote for BN. Aiyo~ why must vote for BN? I'm thinking as daughter and son, we should educate our parents since we are educated and full of knowledge. Try to recall what we have been, Teoh Beng Hock fall mysteriously. When we organize camp, we will ask contribution from SK assemblyman, guess who has help us. Are we going to let this case conclude at open verdict? The suspect run free? Where is the justice? When we are taking part in campus election, all the unfair rules, all the humiliations and dirty tricks from Aspirasi and HEP, are you satisfied with this? Do you want your brother, your future generation going through the same thing that you have experienced? Standing up for your rights and you will be silent by oppressor? Joining any peaceful assembly and tear gas and water cannon awaits you? You can put a stop to this, stop voting for your oppressor, vote against them and show them who is the real boss. One people will not change anything, try to ask your family members to change. Yes, just like Obama said, YES WE CAN!. CHANGE is the things. Malaysia need to change, and the change start from Sarawak! Do your part and let us contribute to better Malaysia.
